This unit supports VET educators and curriculum designers in translating global sustainability frameworks — particularly the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) — into practical, teachable, and assessable components of vocational education, with a focus on waste management, environmental services, and green jobs. Participants will learn to identify the sustainability goals most relevant to their sector, translate these into concrete learning outcomes and curriculum content, and design teaching activities that connect global sustainability objectives to real vocational and work-based learning contexts. The unit emphasizes coherent, curriculum-wide integration rather than isolated or purely theoretical treatment of sustainability. By the end of the course, participants will be able to adapt global sustainability frameworks to their national, local, and institutional VET context in Albania or Kosovo.
