This unit equips VET educational designers and senior trainers with the methodological tools needed to design, revise, and structure competence-based curricula that integrate waste management and sustainability as core components of vocational training. Participants will learn to build complete VET curriculum frameworks grounded in clear learning outcomes and progression logic, embed circular economy principles and green skills into formal programmes, and align curriculum content with labor-market needs and emerging green professions. The unit also covers structuring curricula into modules suitable for blended learning and Open Educational Resources (OER), ensuring coherence between learning outcomes, teaching activities, and assessment. By the end of the course, participants will be able to develop modernized, scalable VET curricula for waste management education that are compatible with EU sustainability frameworks.
